Another homerun for Spider-Man: No Way Home

Upcoming Sony/Marvel movie released the second trailer yesterday and it already broke the internet.

FlixPatrol

The first trailer back in September had the most views over a period of 24 hours (355 million, breaking the previous record held by Avengers: Endgame). This time fans expected to see a true crossover of ALL the Spider-Man movies produced by Sony since 2002. And studio really delivered, sort of. We can see villains from both Tobey Maguire’s and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man movies. What else is waiting for us in the theatres in December? Who knows, but expectations are sky high and so are the views. The second trailer already has almost 30 million views, just on Sony’s YouTube channel alone.

There are another 10 million views on the Marvel channel and soon someone will add that all together and we will see the numbers. The record will most probably stay with the original trailer but anticipation is amazing. Spider-Man got ten times more views than the announcement teaser for the return of the Harry Potter franchise (Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts) or a new trailer for the Netflix drama Don’t Look Up with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence.
